So this question has been asked a lot on chatango when people get false positives on virus blockers. A false positive is when your antivirus mistakes something to be a virus when it is not.

This guide is specifically for Norton and I am not sure how to do it on other antivirus clients.

Okay so let's begin!

Step 1:
Spoiler:
Open up Norton by right clicking the symbol or using the shortcut

Step 4:
Spoiler:
Now press "Add" and select whichever folder you would like to block from being deleted(in this case I selected my Maplestory folder)

Step 5:

Now do the same process with "Signature Exclusions"
In the end it should look a little like this:

it's good that you are doing this for norton, but perhaps you could research and do this for others as well ( with my help maybe? ) because of course other people use different antiviruses.

Kaspersky, BitDefender, AVG, PandaCloud, McAffee, Personally i have used Kaspersky, AVG , McAffee and Bitdefender. My pick would have to be Kaspersky or Bitdefender for the top quality Anti-viruses, however they do sometimes give false positives.

But the most common would most likely be AVG
