Thats just types you can use, but there are no official build-in functions to detect your fan.

Also, Hugo I asked my teacher about the chat client; he says that the code is pretty small, so there is not much to optimize about, the only thing he can see is the wait for the server on this line.

Code:
            tcpClient = new Chat.Sockets.TcpClient();

Also said that optimizing stuff, maybe using Console instead of Form, since forms takes up more then Console.

Well forms vs console isn't going to cause much change.

I'd like to know if you have a strong foundation in other languages. If not, I strongly advise against this, sir. I swear to you that you do not want to start with Microsoft drivel if you do not have a firm footing in a better, less bad-habit-forming language. I would suggest Python or Perl, but Java is not the worst choice you could make; it's certainly better than C# at this point.

But of course, if you're as pro as I hope you are, then you won't have a problem. Razz

So I asked my teacher specifically for that idea, if its possible and how to make it and what we need. He said that it is doable, but you will need to code most of it your self, since Microsoft does not have built-in function for detecting fans.
You can either code something that will detect what fan you are using or, make a drop down box; choose a option.

This is pretty tricky to do, but its a very nice project to work on.

You know its way harder then it looks o-o.

Although it would be a good project to show to my teacher that group of people(including me) made this.
